Vienna, VA (April 12, 2021) – Southern Management Companies (Southern) is pleased to announce the appointment of Erin Ditto as Executive Vice President – Head of Residential Division. With over 29 years of progressive experience in the multifamily property management industry, Erin joins Southern from Fairfield Residential, where she oversaw the operations of a portfolio of over 15,000 units in nine states.
“Erin has a proven track record of producing strong financial and operational results,” said Suzanne Hillman, Southern’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Her experience will be invaluable as she works with Southern’s senior leadership team to enhance and execute our residential portfolio’s strategic plan. Erin’s engaging and hands-on approach will compliment Southern’s culture of continual improvement and thoughtful change.”
Erin will be responsible for managing Southern’s 25,000+ portfolio of multifamily units and key corporate functions, including physical asset management, development and construction, and quality assurance.
Erin is a graduate of the University of Maryland, with a bachelor’s degree in business from the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
